VETERANS BENEFIT TO BE HELP AT CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
On Saturday, March 23rd at Calvary United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne a Veterans dinner will be held. The event is to raise money to benefit the homeless veterans in the Allen County Area. The cost is $10 for the meal and event.
TEAM RWB TO HOST A LOCAL RUN AS ONE EVENT
A 5K run/walk will take place to celebrate the unity of mission for veteran organizations and the community for making a positive impact on the lives of our veterans. The 5K will take place at Foster Park on Saturday, April 13th. The event will start at 9:30am with Rise N’ Roll donuts and other treats awaiting the participants. 2019 WINE AND WHISKERS GALA
On April 20th from 6pm to 10pm the Lennoxs Legacy Rescue group from Decatur, Indiana will be hosting a Wine and Whiskers event at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne. The Gala features a Silent & Live Auction, Dinner, Drinks and Dancing. The tickets are $70 per person or $130 for two people. The Lennoxs Legacy Rescue is hosting the Gala to promote and raise money to help with rescuing animals and finding them a forever home. LEMONADE DAY! HOSTED BY JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT
This free experiential program is open to youth in Allen, DeKalb, Noble & Whitley counties. The program teaches young people how to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand! Working with a parent, mentor or club, the students learn what it takes to run a business and then experience entrepreneurship by setting up their lemonade stand at a location of their choosing during our community wide Lemonade Day on May 11. Prizes are awarded in multiple categories so be sure to get signed up for the fun!
