The CMA red carpet was filled with country stars who were literally turning heads in their lavish gowns and daper tuxes. But while all eyes were on the fashion, I did a double take at Faith Hill's newest accessory: braces!

The country superstar explains to country station KNIX why she has them, "I had them as a kid. I forgot to wear my retainer."

Well, forgetful or not, she's being a great role model for her two daughters, Maggie and Gracie, who both are also doning braces.

Though the light pink metal is new for Hill -she reveals she's had the braces for 4 months now- they weren't a distraction from Hill's big night, where she gave a heartfelt rendition of her new song, American Heart, and took part in the Willie Nelson Tribute.
